Board of Supervisors Unanimously Passes Title X Resolution!

Last week, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a resolution in support of Title X , a critical program which provides high-quality family planning services and other preventive care to low-income and uninsured individuals. Title X is the sole federal program dedicated to funding family planning services, including birth control, pregnancy testing, and sexually transmitted disease prevention and treatment. The Supervisors urge the Administration to rescind the harmful and unlawful new Title X regulations. The resolution was introduced by Supervisor Vallie Brown and all Supervisors signed on as co-sponsors. Read the resolution here.
