Join us for NHC San Francisco's Member-Led Q&A Session!
Are you looking to strengthen your skills as a young professional with hands-on experience in the public health and social services sector? Do you want to connect with organizations and people in the San Francisco community?
The National Health Corps (NHC) is a public health-focused AmeriCorps National Service program that aims to foster healthy communities by connecting those who need it most with health and wellness education, benefits, and services, while developing tomorrow's compassionate health leaders.
We recruit, place, and train paid volunteers in resource-limited organizations for a 10.5-month service term. NHC's members help build healthy communities by providing essential health education and access services to individuals throughout the United States - in Central California, Florida, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco.
We invite you to join National Health Corps San Francisco for our Member Question & Answer Session led by some of our program's current members to get a better idea of what their experiences are and what it's like serving as an AmeriCorps member in our Public Health Leadership Corps program!
In this session, prospective applicants will learn about the National Health Corps Program through the perspective of the NHC members themselves. Prospective applicants will have the opportunity to ask questions about members’ day-to-day responsibilities, adapting to new routines and responsibilities, and finding their rhythms during their service terms.
The Q&A session will be held via Zoom on Monday, March 17th, 2025, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm PT / 7:00pm – 8:30pm MT / 8:00pm – 9:30pm CT / 9:00pm – 10:30pm ET.
Please RSVP here to register and receive the Zoom information.
