Today, SFCCC recognizes Alexa Canady

San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium is recognizing the achievements of African-Americans throughout #BlackHistoryMonth. Alexa Canady was the first African-American neurosurgeon in the U.S. in 1981. The significance of her accomplishments and what it meant for other African-Americans and women in medicine are immeasurable.
